Justice Minister met National Assembly deputies of Hanoi

On November 8, Ministry of Justice’s leaders had a meeting and working session with National Assembly deputies of Hanoi on the occasion of the 8th session of the 12th National Assembly. The delegation was led by Ms Ngo Thi Doan Thanh, Vice Party Secretary acts as Chairman of HaNoi City People’s Council.

Attending the meeting also had: Mr Nguyen The Thao - Chairman of  the Hanoi People's Committee, Mr Vu Hong Khanh - Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi People's Committee and other leaders of the Hanoi People's Committee. The delegation was warmly welcomed by Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong.

This is a good chance for Ministry of Justice’s leaders and staff to meet and exchange views with National Assembly deputies of Hanoi, which will further the two sides’ cooperation in implementing the assigned political tasks.

 Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong reported to the deputies on the implementation of Ministry’s functions and tasks relating to the National Assembly’s activities and briefed the judicial work and civil judgement enforcement in Hanoi in 2010. Two sides then discussed the draft Capital Law.

All deputies highly appreciated the role of Ministry of Justice in the national construction and development. They also expressed the hope that Ministry of Justice would back the draft Capital Law to be soon passed by the National Assembly. When the law is passed, it will create a legislative framework to manage plans, investments for construction and development in Ha Noi. ./.- ITD
