Ministry of Justice’s activities in brief in early October

1. On October 1, leaders of Ministry of Justice had a working session with Emulation and Commendation Department on the draft Circular replacing Circular No 07/2006 which guided the work of emulation and commendation in Justice Sector.

2. On the same day, leaders of Ministry of Justice also chaired the meeting with  Committee compiling the draft ordinance on legal normative system codes. At the meeting, the delegates discussed the values, scope, topics, procedures and management of the code.

3. Deputy Minister Nguyen Duc Chinh, on October 4, paid a working visit to the Representative Office of Ministry of Justice in Ho Chi Minh City. He worked with the Representative Office on its work in the 3rd Quarter as well as its tasks and orientation in the 4th Quarter this year.

4. On the afternoon of October 8, the Trade Union of Ministry of Justice raised the donation to support the flood victims in Central of Vietnam. Leaders and staff of the Ministry and Ministry’s departments attended the event.

5. On October 9, Judicial Academy held the opening of the 10th lawyer professional skill training course in Hanoi. Attending the ceremony were Mr Nguyen Van Bon, Deputy Director of Legal Aid Department under Ministry of Justice; Mr Nguyen Van Chien- Vice Chairman of Hanoi Bar Association; Board of Directors and staff of Judicial Academy and all the trainees of the course.

6. On the occasion of the Vietnamese Businessmen’s Day,  on October 13, Deputy Minister Dinh Trung Tung sent a congratulation letter to businessmen  who were members of the legal Enterprise Club.

7. To implement Decision No 585/ QD-TTg dated 5 May 2010 of the Prime Minister approving the interdisciplinary legal aid Program for enterprises in stage 2010-2014, on 12 October 2010, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Justice signed the join Circular No 157/2010/TTLT-BTC-BTP guiding the estimation, management, using and balance of the state budget ensuring the works of legal aids for enterprises. The Joint-Circular shall be effective in 45 days from the signing date./. -ITD
