On August 28, Justice Sector's third emulation congress is held in Ha Noi. Present at the Congress are Mr Uong Chu Luu, Vice Chairman of National Assembly; Mr Ha Hung Cuong, Minister of Justice; leaders from Ministry of Justice; representatives of various Ministries, central boards, branches and more than 400 delegates representing outstanding individuals and collectives.
Delivering opening speech, Minister Ha Hung Cuong affirms that " Since the day of foundation, along with the Party, State and People, Justice Sector has proved that patriotic emulation is always a significant factor creating the motivation and great strength of Vietnam revolution". With that spirit, Justice Sector's staff all over the country actively support and participate in the patriotic emulation movements launched by Ministry and Sector. On behalf of the Party Commission and leaders of Ministry of Justice, he acknowledges the exertion of all Justice Sector's staff for over five recent years
The event aims to summarize the patriotic emulation movements and commendation works of the Sector in 2005-2010, commend the achievements and merit of typical individuals, collectives and Sector's typical emulation fighters. It is an opportunity for the Sector to point out the weaknesses, shortcomings and draw the lessons of experience. At the Congress, the Sector’s orientation and tasks in the period of 2010-2015 is also specified.
On behalf of the Party and state's leaders, Mr Uong Chu Luu congratulates and shares the happiness with the Congress. He notes that there still exists certain shortcomings, however, and asks Justice Sector to focus more on: practical summary and theoretical study, the education of Justice's staff, implementing the task of helping Government and local authorities observe the legal enforcement.
During the Congress, the delegates also exchange and have discussion on experiences drawn from reality, the creative and effective ways in legal implementation.
The congress also announces the Decisions recognizing the typical advanced individuals and organizations of the Sector. At this Congress, some collectivities and individuals have the honor to receive the Labour Order and Felicitation Paper from the Prime Minister for their brilliant activities devoted to the Sector./. - ITD
