Vietnam – France: Cooperate in field of bailiff

On June 28th, Deputy Minister of Justice Nguyen Khanh Ngoc sat down with the delegation of French Bailiff Council to discuss some matters that both parties are concerned with.
At the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Khanh Ngoc thanked the French Bailiff Council for accompanying and supporting Vietnam in developing bailiff service from the beginning. According to the Deputy Minister, this is a very difficult field with lots of issues that need to be resolve, such as improving the citizens’ awareness about the importance of bailiff, building the Code of bailiff conducting, completing the legal framework for bailiff… Because of that, Vietnam want to learn some experience from the French colleagues to make bailiff a developing judicial service.
Agreeing with Mr. Deputy Minister, the Vice President of French Bailiff Council, Mr Patrick Safar said that Vietnam has a lot of advantages for the bailiff service to develop. He also informed that the French Bailiff Council is willing to share information, experience as well as support Vietnam in developing bailiff through specific activities, such as workforce training, experts exchanging…
