Vietnam officially becomes a member of Hague Conference
Viet Nam has officially become a member state of the Hague Conference from April 10, 2013, the most prestigious organisation in the field of international justice.
In Hague, the administrative capital of Netherland, at the fifth round of the Hague Conference’s plenary meeting, Deputy Minister Hoang The Lien gave Vietnam’s document accepting the regulation of Hague Conference on international justice. Secretary General of the Hague Conference Hans Van Loon then gave Deputy Minister of Justice Hoang The Lien a notification in The Hague, which signifies the official acceptance of Viet Nam as a member state.

The accession to the Hague Conference will mark a new development of Viet Nam in its integration into international legal sector.

Addressing at the meeting, Deputy Minister Hoang The Lien gave thanks to member states of Hague Convention for their support to Vietnam and expressed the hope that they would continue to help Vietnam in fulfilling the rights and obligations of a Hague Conference’s member state, especially in legal staff training and exchanging.
