At the meeting, after briefly introducing the fucntions and powers of the Ministry on legislative development and legal monitoring, Minister Cuong informed the Vice- Chairman of the outcomes in building the Law on legal support, signing and implementing the bilateral agreements for legal support in Vietnam. He also highlighted the close cooperation between the two Ministries of Justice over the past time and pledged to do his best to boost the traditional and friendly cooperation between Vietnam and Laos, especially in the legal and judicial field.
As for his part, Mr Phengkhammy hoped to receive Vietnam’s experiences in building the Law on international legal support as well as other legal documents.
