Deputy Minister Le Hong Son received Hungarian Deputy State Secretary for e-Government, Ministry of Public Administration and Justice
Justice Deputy Minister Le Hong Son on February 22 held a meeting with Mr. Gabor Fekete, Deputy State Secretary for e-Government, Ministry of Public Administration and Justice to discuss issues of mutual interest.
Welcoming Mr. Gabor Fekete and exchanging of mutual legal assistance agreement between Vietnam and Hungary in 1985, the Deputy Minister said that it was time to review and renew the Agreement in accordance with the overall development of the two countries. Besides, Deputy Minister  Le Hong Son recommended that both Hungarian and Vietnamese Ministries of Justice to sign an cooperation agreement in the legal and justice field in the appropriate time. While noting that Vietnam was at the first step of the e-government building process and was researching the legal basis for this matter, he expressed the hope that Hungary would support Vietnam in building activities of e-government in the coming time.

Mr. Gabor Fekete expressed his consensus with the issues raised by the Deputy Minister. He said Hungary was accelerating the construction of e-government and  has issued lots of legal documents relating to the matter. He also emphasized that the information security and protection of citizens’ personal information played an important role in the e-government building process in each country.

On this occasion, two sides also discussed a number of contents relating to the preparation for a working visit to Vietnam of Hungarian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Public Administration and Justice in 2012./.-ITD
