For the same administrative violations, the fine level of organization is bigger 02 times than the fine for individuals. The maximum fine for individuals is VND 250,000,000.Organizations and individuals detected infringements of industrial property rights cause damage to consumers or society, violations relating to goods, stamps, labels, branded items, instructions fake geographical; organizations and individuals affected or potentially affected by acts of unfair competition in the field of industrial property rights cause is notified and requested the competent authorities verification procedures, penalties. Upon receiving notice of the organizations, individuals and agencies authorized to handle violations shall check and coordinate with all industrial property rights verification process violation as prescribed.This Decree shall take effect onOctober 15, 2013. The Decree No.97/2010/ND-CP datedSeptember 21, 2010 of the Government on sanctioning of administrative violations in the field of industrial property ceases willbe expired from the date of this decree into effect.

Government issued Decree No. 99/2013/ND-CP dated August 29, 2013 on sanctioning of administrative violations in the field of industrial property.
