Prescribed safety conditions for food production, food business

On October 22, the Minister of Health has issued Circular No. 16/2012/TT-BYT prescribed safety conditions for food production, food business, tools packaging material, containing food containers.

There have only permission to make production, food processing enhanced micronutrients are vitamins, minerals, micronutrients in food at levels not harmful to the health of consumers and follow the list of the Ministry of Health;

Food packing to ensure complete safety, not only exposed to hazardous substances, does not affect the quality and safety of food, unpolluted agents affect people's health consumption.

For raw materials, products and functional foods, micronutrient fortified foods, food additives, food processing aids business establishments must comply with the national technical standards and regulations food safety of competent agencies and particular to longer-term use; records, contracts, bills, vouchers stores information related to the purchase and sale of guaranteed access to food sources business.

Source of clean water to clean equipment, utensils and hygiene in the facility must be quality control, hygiene at least 1 time per year.

State agencies conduct spot checks if the violation occurs on food safety, food safety related incidents, the peak inspection under the direction of the agency.
This Circular will take effect from the date of December 05, 2012.
