Administrative infringements in the field of tourism will get heavy punishments

* According to Decree No. 16/2012/ND-CP regulations on administrative sanctions in the field of tourism, the highest fines for administrative violations in the tourism sector is VND 40 million, the lowest VND 500,000. Which stipulates that:
- Using travel guide fake cards fined up to VND 10 million;

- Unregulated Income from fees fined up to VND 20 million;
- In particular, the highest fines from VND 30-40 million is applied for one of the following acts: For organizations and individuals use the travel business license to operate international business travel ; business international travel without business licenses international travel.

 

* In response to the Resolution No. 11/2011/QH3 dated 9 November 2011 of the National Assembly on socio-economic development plan of the year 2012, the Resolution No.21/2011/QH13 dated November 26, 2011 of the National Assembly on questioning and answering questions at Second Session of 8th National Assembly and the Resolution No.01/NQ-CP dated 3 January 2012 of the Government on key solutions for guiding and managing the implementation of socio-economic development plan and state budget estimation of the year 2012, the Governor of State Bank of Vietnam issued Directive No. 01/CT-NHNN dated February13, 2012 on organizing the implementation of monetary policies and ensuring the banking activity to besafe and efficient in 2012 and also action plan of state bank of Vietnam on implementing the Resolution No. 01/NQ-CP of the Government dated January03, 2012 on key solutions in guiding the implementation of the social development plan and estimation of state budget in 2012.
