The workshop of the Hungarian exchange experience in building and implementing legislation on the registration and management of civil status

Recently, the Department of Civil Status, Nationality, Authentication hosted the workshop of Hungarian exchange experience in building and implementing legislation on the registration and management of civil status; consult experts of Hungary on a number of draft content of Vietnamese Civil Law. Attending at the workshop were Deputy Minister in charge of the legislative work of the Ministry of Public Administration and Justice of Hungary, Mr. Nguyen Cong Khanh, Director of Civil Status, Nationality, Authentication Department, Ministry of Justice; the senior advisers of Hungary with representatives of the agencies under the MOJ.

Personal identification number has been specified in Hungarian Constitution 20 years ago and so far, the application has been made effective. ID number includes information relating to individuals, such as address, date of birth... but it doesn’t show information in job and health status, therefore in addition to personal identification number, there are the other managements of tax code, health insurance...

Also at the workshop, representatives exchanged, discussed and pose questions to the expert team revolves around a number of main contents: How different when the civil status of individuals in a data, the population database and the database by one or two civil management bodies, the database connection; identification number replace all other paper documents or not...
