Traditional Room of the Ministry of Justice to debut
Towards the 70th founding anniversary of the Vietnam Justice Sector (28 August 1945 – 28 August 2015), the opening of Traditional Room of the Ministry of Justice was officially celebrated on 22 August 2015. Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong, Deputy Ministers: Dinh Trung Tung, Nguyen Khanh Ngoc and Phan Chi Hieu attended the ceremony.

Former Deputy Ministers: Nguyen Duc Chinh, Pham Quy Ty, Deputy Chief Judge of the People’s Supreme Court Nguyen Thuy Hien; heads of units attached to the Ministry, Directors and heads of offices of Departments of Justice; Heads and heads of offices of provincial level civil judgment enforcement agencies also participated in the opening ceremony.

Introducing the Traditional Room, Head of the MOJ’s Office Tran Tien Dung emphasized that the Traditional Room is set at the 3rd floor at the MOJ’s headquarter, with an area of ​​​​200m2 (including outer space). The Room was designed by the leading experts of the Vietnam National Museum of History and constructed by experienced contractors DNA-CDC. Preparing the content for the Traditional Room, from previous years, units attached to the Ministry, the Departments of Justice and provincial level civil judgment enforcement agencies collaborated with the Organizing Committee to collect documents and historical artifacts. With the enthusiastic support of leaders of ministries and agencies, generations of Justice officials, families of former leaders of the Ministry, many valued and significant photographs and documents reflecting the activities of the Ministry and the Sector have been collected. The content of display divided into 4 main parts, as follows:

Part I: The establishment of the Justice sector in 1945;

Part II: The development of the Sector from 1945 to 1960;

Part III: The development of the Sector from 1960 to 1981;

Part IV: The development of the Sector from 1981 to present.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong hopes that pictures and historical artifacts shall help generations of cadres, civil servants and public employees of the Justice sector to promote glorious achievements of the Justice sector, lifting the activity of the Ministry and the Justice sector to a higher level. This will contribute to effectively serving the process of industrialization, modernization and international integration of the country for the goal of "prosperous people, a strong country, democratic, fair and civilized". The Minister requested in the next period, the MOJ’s Office and relevant units attached to the Ministry will be responsible for storing and preserving, continue researching, innovating and collecting more artifacts, pictures and documents to enrich the Traditional Room.

Along with Traditional Room located on the 3rd floor at the MOJ’s headquarter, Traditional Electronic Room was officially run from 22 August 2015 and placed on the Portal of the MOJ at http://moj.gov.vn/pages/phong-truyen-thong-dien-tu.aspx. The Traditional Electronic Room introduces a lot of pictures on the activities of the Ministry of Justice through ages and has been updating./.
