Further boosting legal and judicial co-operation for Vietnam
On March 16, Ministry of Justice held a meeting with ambassadors, donors and representatives of international organisations about legal and judicial co-operation between Vietnam and foreign countries. Minister Ha Hung Cuong chaired the conference with the participation of nearly 30 Ambassadors, Chief Representatives of the international organizations and diplomatic missions as well as representatives of the related ministries. Deputy Ministers of Justice Hoang The Lien,Dinh Trung Tung, Pham QuyTy, Le Thanh Long and  leaders of related agencies under MOJ also attended  the meeting

This is the first time Ministry of Justice organized a meeting in recognition and appreciation for the contributions and supports of other countries and international organizations in cooperation with Vietnamese Ministry of Justice and other legal and judicial agencies during the past two decades and in the future.
Addressing the event, Minister Ha Hung Cuong expressed thanks to the guests for their help and support in recent years. He believed that the activities of international cooperation in the coming time would continue to be enhanced for the benefits of each party, contributing to successful implementation of the tasks set out for the Ministry and Sector.

The Minister also informed the guests of Vietnam's policy to build a socialist rules-of-law State as well as the country’s planned judicial reforms in the future.

Delegates at the meeting appreciated Vietnam’s efforts to complete its legal system and judicial reforms. They also pledged to continue promoting co-operation with Vietnam in the field.
