Vietnam’s Justice Minister and his Lao counterpart visited and had a working session with Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee and People's Council
On the occasion of  the justice meeting of Vietnamese and Lao border provinces, Justice Minister Ha Hung Cuong and his Lao counterpart on June 27 visited and had a working session with Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, People's Committee and People's Council.
Warmly welcome two ministers, Secretary of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee Mai Van Ninh briefly introduced the province’s economic, social, security and defense situation, as well as its potential development. He affirmed that the stability in the border areas and cooperation with Laos play significant roles in the province’s development. He hoped that two sides will further cooperate to deal with the issues of nationality and civil status in the border areas.

Minister Ha Hung Cuong appreciated the province’s achievements and hoped that the province will gain further objectives, duties and achievements in the coming time. He thanked Thanh Hoa provincial authorities for their help to the successful organisation of the first justice meeting, contributing to expand comprehensive cooperation between two countries.

Lao Minister of Justice highly spoke of the cooperation activities between two Ministries of Justice as well as between Vietnamese and Lao border provinces. He also proposed Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee to create favorable conditions for its provincial justice sector in cooperating and exchanging experiences with justice sector of  Hua Phan and Sam Nua provinces, helping to strengthen bilateral relations./.-ITD
