On 16 August, Ministry of Justice’s delegation led by Minister Ha Hung Cuong worked with Kien Giang Party Committee, People’s Council and Department of Justice on the judicial works in the first eight months of 2010.
At the working session with Kien Giang Department of Justice, Minister Ha Hung Cuong appreciated the results that Kien Giang’s justice sector had achieved. He emphasized Kien Giang’s justice sector needed to be more active with the local news situation, such as the matter of rice production and its related policies. He also required Kien Giang’s justice sector pay more attention to marriage with foreign elements, notice and prevent the unqualified dossiers to avoid regretted cases.
Working with Kien Giang Party Committee and People’s Council, Minister Ha Hung Cuong proposed the local leaders to have more concerns about the socialization of public notary work, operation of lawyers and judicial verification. He urged the local authorities to create favorable conditions for civil judge enforcement agencies to successfully exercise their tasks in the remaining months this year.
Addressing at the meeting, Secretary of Kien Giang Party Committee asserted that the province would co-operate with justice sector to implement the assigned tasks. He also asked provincial functional bodies to study Minister’s proposals and take in their action plans.
