On July 17, Vietnamese Government issued Decree No. 77/2013/ND-CP detailing the implementation of the law to prevent and combat tobacco on a number of measures to prevent and combat the harmful effects of tobacco.
This Decree provides detailed regulations to implement certain provisions as paragraph 4 of Article 12, paragraph 7 of Article 15, Paragraph 2; 4 of Article 17 of the Law on prevention of the harmful effects of tobacco and conditions established organization drug treatment, smoking cessation counseling, relocation of the smoking ban in some places reserved for smokers in places completely banning smoking indoors and increase the area of health warnings on tobacco packaging.
According to this Decree, the organizational form of detoxification activity, smoking cessation counseling, including:
Agencies, organizations and individuals to establish smoking cessation, addiction counseling centers cigarettes under this Decree.
The medical examination and treatment activities organized detoxification, smoking cessation counseling.
This Decree shall take effect from the date of 15/09/2013
