Dan made the statement while introducing the agenda for the 7th session of the 12th NA which will kick off on May 20 and end on June 19.

The NA will also comment on the assessment report of the country's socio-economic achievements in 2009, the implementation of the socio-economic strategy and this year's national budget plan.

"The NA Standing Committee has asked the Government to report on the issues that concern NA deputies, such as the operational plan of the Dung Quat Oil Refinery and the phenomenon that some provinces renting out forest land to foreigners," said Dan.

He said the NA would also discuss the Ha Noi-HCM City highway project and the Ha Noi Master Plan to 2030 with a Vision to 2050.

"Many deputies are interested in issues such as the capital's master plan, the proposed new administrative and financial centre and the Government's solutions to avoiding a real-estate boom," Dan said. The NA has also asked the Government to collect opinions from residents in the central and southern regions on these issues.

The NA will also listen to reports on how policies to establish schools and investments to improve the quality of education are being carried out, especially for higher education, and reports on how NA comments from the previous NA session have been solved.
