The Coordinating Council for legal dissemination and education on March1st organized its 20th meeting to assess the activities in 2011, set out orientations and tasks for 2012, give comments on the draft Plan examining activities of legal dissemination and education as well as announce the replacing of the Council’s members. Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong, Chairman of the Council, chaired the meeting.

Ministry of Justice on February 23 held the Conference deploying the international cooperation tasks for 2012 with the participation of the Deputy Ministers Le Hong Son, Le Thanh Long and representatives of agencies under the MOJ, representatives from related ministries and sectors (the Office of the President, Office of the National Assembly, the Supreme People's Procuracy, the Supreme People's Court, Ministry of Public Security, Ministry of Foreign Affairs...). Minister Ha Hung Cuong and Depurt Minister Hoang The Lien co-chaired the conference.

At the second meeting of the NA Committee for drafting amendments to the 1992 Constitution on February 21, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung said that the amendments to the 1992 Constitution took place in the context the entire Party, people and the army were trying to implement the resolution of the 11th National Congress of the Communist Party, promote the rennovation process to meet the country's current development needs, forecast global and regional trends, perfect the basic law to serve the common cause of the whole country and people as well as comply with the resolution passed by the 11th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam.

Vice Minister of Justice Nguyen Thuy Hien on February 21 chaired the Conference deploying the Project on voting the 2012 typical lawyers and law firm with the participation of the selection Board, including representatives from Department of Judicial Support ( under Ministry of Justice), Vietnam Bar Association, Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI), the Supreme People's Court, the Supreme People's Procuracy, Vietnam Lawyers’ Association, Ha Noi Bar Association, HCM City Bar Association and Vietnam Law Newspaper.

The Justice Ministry’s delegation led by Deputy Minister Nguyen Duc Chinh on February 16 paid a working visit to Bac Lieu province and worked with leaders of the provincial People's Committee on the judicial activities and civil judgment enforcement matters. Chairman of the provincial People's Committee Pham Hoang Be received the delegation. At the meeting, he expressed the hope that the closer and closer cooperation between leaders of Bac Lieu province and Ministry of Justice will help to remove the difficulties of local justice and civil judgment execution sectors.

Building the two national key legal training centers
