After 5 years of implementation, the law helps to develop the notarization practising organisations and notarization activities in Vietnam, which assures the legal safety for contracts and transactions, contributing to the socio-economic development and foreign investment attraction.
However, the law’s implementation also witnessed certain shortcomings and weaknesses due to the imperfection of the law, especially in the stipulations on organisations, operations and state management over notarisation.
At the first meeting, the decisions establishing the compilation committee and editing group were announced. The participants also gave comments on plan and operating regulations of the compilation committee and editing group as well as orientations for amending and supplementing the Law.
