Coordinating Council for legal dissemination and education of the Government held its 20th meetingThe Coordinating Council for legal dissemination and education on March1st organized its 20th meeting to assess the activities in 2011, set out orientations and tasks for 2012, give comments on the draft Plan examining activities of legal dissemination and education as well as announce the replacing of the Council’s members. Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong, Chairman of the Council, chaired the meeting.According to the reports presented at the meeting, in 2011, the coordination Councils from central to local level confirmed its effective operation, timely direct and guide the legal dissemination and education in all sectors and levels. The Council has promoted its role in guiding and propagandizing the XI National Party Congress’s results, propagandizing thelaw to serve the election of the 13th National Assembly and the People's Councils at all levels from 2011 to 2016.
Concluding the meeting, Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong appreciated the coordinating Council’s activities in 2011. The standing body of the Council in collaboration with the Party Central Committee Office actively perform the advisory functions to the Party Central Committee's Secretariat in issuing Conclusion No. 04-KL/TW dated April 19, 2011 on the implementation of Directive No. 32 -CT/TW dated December 09, 2003 enhancing the Party's leadership in the legaldissemination and education, raising legal awareness for staff and people; building and submitting the Bill of legal dissemination and education to the National Assembly. The coordinating Council of the Government has also been consolidated. The legal dissemination and education by ministries, agencies and localities have witnessed positive changes. However, the Minister required that the report should clarify the Council's shortcomings and litmitations. For 2012, he proposed that the Council should identify the key tasks and implementing measures; the Council should focus on self-examination, cross-examination and local inspection. In addition, the Council should renew the organization and operation to operate more efficiently./.-ITD
