Implementing the plan of the National Committee on Youth of Vietnam, Deputy Minister of Justice Nguyen Thuy Hien, Member of the National Commission on Youth of Vietnam, on October 6, has led the working delegation to examine and evaluate the implementation of laws and policies on youth in Bac Kan province.
Addressing at the meeting, Deputy Minister Nguyen Thuy Hien said that the implementation of laws and policies on youth in Bac Kan has gained positive changes (from awareness to actual implementation), specified regulations consistent with local characteristics focusing on minority ethnic young people and young women.
Besides, she asked Bac Kan province to review the implementation of policies and schemes for young people in the provincial agencies and departments and evaluate the efficiency and main effects of these policies and schemes. Based on that, the province could build both short-term and long-term youth programs as well as the appropriate implementing solutions.
Vice President of People's Committee of Bac Kan province Nong Van Chi has noted the comments and proposals at the meeting and asked provincial sectors to timely perform their advisory functions to the provincial People's Committee in removing obstacles to the implementation of laws and policies on youth.
Earlier, the Deputy Minister had a working trip to Bach Thong district. There, the working delegation has received lots of opinions on youth work at the grassroots level./.-ITD
