The Deputy Minister informed that Ministry of Justice was going to review 5 years of implementing the Law on Lawyers and suggest amending the Law (planned in 2012); therefore, it was necessary to master the issues arisen in the operations of the lawyers and law firms.
The Deputy Minister and the delegation highly appreciated the professional operation of the National No.5 Law Firm (NALAF), VILAF Hong Duc and Dao & Brother law office. They also noted the recommendations of these law offices on matters relating to institution and coordination among functional agencies, especially in the trial process.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Duc Chinh said that lots of lawyers’ organizations were now operating in the fragmentary state without the linkage to create the competitive strength. He emphasized that lawyers’ organizations needed to pay attention to the professional operations, lawyer training, legal consultation and legal aids to citizens, worth to be trusted addresses for citizens, businesses and authorities./.-ITD
