This morning, on 25 February, Ministry of Justice organized the online conference to disseminate the Law on judicial records.
Attended the conference were representatives from central agencies, agencies and units of People’s courts, Procuracies, People's Army and Police, departments of justice and civil judgement enforcement from 63 cities and provinces. Deputy Minister Dinh Trung Tung attended and chaired the conference.
Addressing at the conference, Deputy Minister Dinh Trung Tung affirmed that judicial records played an important role in people’s civil life. When coming into effect, however, the Law on judicial records created the new and complicated tasks as well as difficulties in state management on judicial records. The implementation of this Law requires the close coordination among agencies. Therefore, the conference is necessary to solve the existing difficulties and help the Law soon come into effect in people’s life.
The conference will focus on three main areas including: the basic contents of Law on judicial records and its guiding documents; the function and tasks of the national center for judicial records and departments of justice in building and managing the database on judicial records; the cooperation mechanism between and among national center for judicial records and departments of justice as well as other agencies and organizations in providing and receiving information on judicial records./-ITD
