Disputes resolution through arbitrationOn June 14th, Deputy Minister of Justice Nguyen Khanh Ngoc sat down with Vice General Secretary from the Permanent Court of Arbitration (PCA) - Mr. Brooks Daly to exchange some issues.At the meeting, Mr. Brooks Daly informed that the purpose of his trip is to implement some contents of the Host country Agreement, which was signed between PCA and Vietnam. To affirm that PCA hope to cooperate with Vietnam, Mr. Vice General Secretary exchanged with Deputy Minister Nguyen Khanh Ngoc about some cooperative contents in disputes resolution training.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Khanh Ngoc shared that during the time of promoting international integration, especially in joining free commercial agreements, Vietnam is deeply concerned about the disputes resolution system, including arbitration. The Ministry of Justice was assigned by the Government to encourage and promote arbitration, the Ministry also want to cooperate with PCA to learn and exchange knowledge, as well as experience in international disputes resolution.
Mr. Deputy Minister also proposed that PCA will create opportunities for officers of the Ministry of Justice to visit Hague to study and research more about PCA, especially the rules and operation of PCA.
