On June 24, Ministry of Justice’s delegation led by Deputy Minister Dinh Trung Tung began working visit to the Republic of Uzbekistan.
On the first day, the delegation work with the Uzbekistan Ministry of Justice. Uzbekistan Justice Minister Yuldashev N.T and representatives from departments under the Justice Ministry of Uzbekistan has respectfully welcomed for Vietnamese delegation. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Vietnam in Uzbekistan Le Manh Luan attended at the meeting.
Deputy Minister Dinh Trung Tung was briefed on the implementation of legal reform strategies and judicial reform, 1992 Constitution Amendment Draft, amendments and supplements to the Civil Code's are going on in Vietnam, the functions and duties of the Justice Ministry of Vietnam. Deputy Minister Dinh Trung Tung stressed that Vietnam and Uzbekistan are in the process of integration and economic development. Thus, both parties have a lot in common and can share experiences in building and perfecting the legal system to meet new requirements of national development and international integration.
At the meeting, both sides also exchanged views on the early functional that units need to exchange complete, unified draft memorandum of cooperation, as well as the completion of the internal procedures of each Party to prepare for signing this document as the basis for the effective implementation of co-operation between the Ministries of Justice in coming time.
