On November 8, Minister Ha Hung Cuong hosted a reception to Ms Marie-Joseé Jacops, Luxembourg’s Minister of Development Co-operation and Humanitarian Assistance.
At the meeting, two sides discussed matters relating to child adoption and two countries’s legal policies on child adoption. Two Ministers also exchanged views on the cooperation between two countries, Luxembourg’s aid to Vietnam in international child adoption and the implementation of 1993 Hague Convention on intercountry adoption.
Thanks for the Luxembourg’s aid, Minister Ha Hung Cuong expressed the hope that two countries will soon reach a bilateral agreement on child adoption based on 1993 Hague Convention, which helps to boost the cooperative activities in this field.
