The negotiation for legal and judicial cooperation agreement between Vietnam Ministry of Justice and South Africa Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Development
On October 25, the delegation from South Africa Ministry of Justice and Constitutional Development, including 4 members led by Mr John Makhubele-Director of General Department for international legal relations, had attended the negotiation with Vietnam Ministry of Justice for the legal and judicial cooperation agreement. Deputy Minister Le Hong Son received the delegation and discussed the matters of mutual concerns.

The negotiation round in Hanoi followed the results of the 2nd South Africa-Vietnam Partnership Forum in Pretoria in August, 2012.

During the negotiation, two sides exchanged information and shared the hopes and orientation for mutual cooperation in the coming time. Two sides believed that the establishment of cooperative relation between two Ministries is necessary , contributing to enhance the mutual understanding as well as have the common opinions in the international arena.

The two negotiating delegations reached a consensus regarding all the contents of the draft Memorandum of Understanding between two Ministries on legal and judicial cooperation. Two parties also expressed the hope that the MoU will soon be signed.
