Within the framework of the cooperation program in the period 2012 - 2013 between the Justice Ministries of the two countries, Vietnamese Ministry of Justice’s delegation led by Deputy Minister Le Hong Son had a working visit to Republic of Belarus from September 30 to October 06.
On the first day of the working visit, the delegation had a meeting with the Belarusian Justice Ministry with participation of Mr. AV Bileichic, First Deputy Minister of Justice. Attending the meeting, Deputy Minister Le Hong Son and Mr. Bileichic AV were glad and appreciated the cooperative relationship between the two countries as well as the legal and judicial cooperation.
In the afternoon of the same day, Deputy Minister Le Hong Son and MOJ delegation exchanged views with the experts from Belarusian Ministry of Justice on professional issues in the field of civil status, authentication, lawyers management and judicial inspection. The Belarusian experts shared experiences and answered questions from Vietnamese delegation on the relating issues, including Belarusian Citizenship Law that comes into force on June 2013. These are valuable experiences for Vietnam in the process of legal and judicial reform.
