Awarding commemorative medal “For the justice cause” to Director of US aid in Vietnam
On August 15, Deputy Minister Le Thanh Long awarded the commemorative medal for justice cause to Mr Frank Donovan, Director of USAID in Vietnam to acknowledge his contribution to the justice development in Vietnam.

Mr Frank Donovan is the Director of USAID in Vietnam from November 2011 to August 2012. During his working term in Vietnam, he has had significant contributions to the implementation of USAID’s programs in Vietnam, including the second phase of STAR project ( 2007-2010) and Project “Support for Legal Implementation for Economic Integration”(2013).

Speaking at the ceremony, the Deputy Minister affirmed that Mr Donovan, who has witnessed the impressive changes and  development of Vietnam over the past few years, is a friend of Ministry of Justice. The award of the commemorative medal for justice cause aimed to acknowledge his active and valuable contributions to the justice development in Vietnam.

For his part, Mr Frank Donovan expressed his honor to receive the medal and said that he would continue to support Vietnam in the legal and judicial reforms.
