Conditions for registration and operation of customs clearance agentsOn 16th February 2011, the Government issued the Decree No. 14/2011/ND-CP prescribing the conditions for registration and operation of customs clearance agents. This Decree takes effect from 01st April 2011 and replaces Decree No. 79/2005/ND-CP issued by the Government on 16th June 2005 prescribing the conditions for registration and operation of customs clearance agents.Under the decree, a trader, before commencing operations, must submit a dossier documenting full satisfaction of conditions for acting as a customs clearance agents to receive certification from the provincial/municipal customs departments where it is headquartered. The provincial/municipal customs department will be responsible for posting the certification on the website of the General Department of Customs./.-ITD

On 16th February 2011, the Government issued the Decree No. 14/2011/ND-CP prescribing the conditions for registration and operation of customs clearance agents.
