The 2012 legal partnership forum opens in Hanoi

On December 12, Ministry of Justice in coordination with UNDP held the 2012 legal partnership forum entitled “strengthening legal and judicial reform in Vietnam”. Minister of Justice Ha Hung Cuong and Ms Pratibha Mehta,UN Resident Coordinator in Vietnam, attended and deliver speeches.

The eighth meeting of the Central Steering Committee for Judicial reform

On December 10, the Central Steering Committee for Judicial Reform discussed and gave comments on the draft reports submitting to the Poliburo on establishing the basic People’s Court and regional People’s Procuracy.

7th Meeting Session of the Central Steering Committee of Judicial Reform

In the morning of 16/10, under the chairmanship of President Truong Tan Sang, the Steering Committee of Judicial Reform held its 7th meeting session to comment on Project "Development of the Hanoi Law University and the Law University of Ho Chi Minh city to become the key legal education and training schools"; to report to the Politburo about the assignment of professional trainings for judicial officials and staff training, recruitment of legal staff for the people’s courts and procuracies.
