State President Sang highly spoke of the cooperative agreements between the People’s Supreme Court of Vietnam and Russia’s Supreme Court in recent years, highlighting the judicial training work as one of urgent tasks in Việt Nam’s judicial reform strategy to 2020.

The State President welcomed and supported initiatives on cooperation between the two sectors and affirmed a commitment to create favorable conditions for them to boost cooperation.

The Supreme Court of Russia promised to help Việt Nam train its judges.
Mr. Vyacheslav M. Lebedev highlighted that the growing development in the two countries’ cooperation in the court sector was based on the traditional friendship, saying that leaders agreed to exchange expert-level delegations, increase studies in legislative and judicial areas, and expand cooperation between local courts.

The Russian official said he wished the two nations and justice sectors would provide mutual support and boost the strategic partnership between the two countries.
