Justice news in brief 10/9
* Implementation Resolution No. 30a/2008/NQ-CP of the Government's program to support rapid and sustainable poverty reduction in 61 poor districts, the Prime Minister issued Decision No. 52/2010/QD-TTg on the legal policy support to improve awareness and understanding of the law for the poor, ethnic minorities. After two years of implementation of Decision No.52, It has contributed positively to the stability and security and order, socio-economic development in the poor districts of 21 provinces in the country. This assessment is made at the preliminary conference two years to implement Decision 52 issued by the Ministry of Justice held recently.
* From September 02 to 06, interdisciplinary Delegation of Vietnam of Agreement on mutual legal assistance on criminal included representatives of the Office of the President, the Supreme People's Court and ProcuracySPC, the Ministry of Public security, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Foreign Affairs led by Mr. Le Tien, Director of international Cooperation Department, Supreme people's Procuratorate and delegation of Indonesia Ied by Mr Freddy Harris, Acting Director of the Department of international law and the central government, Ministry of law and Human Rights as head of the negotiated agreement.
* On September 07, Sub-Union of the Institute of Legal Science organized a seminar on "A number of solutions to improve the efficiency of legal research activities for young professionals" with the participation of the leaders of the Institute, Dr.Duong Thanh Mai, representatives from the sub-unions within and outside the Ministry of Justice and numerous young staff of the Institute of legal Science.
