To commemorate the 87th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day, Deputy Minister Dinh Trung Tung, accompanied by leaders of agencies under Ministry of Justice, paid a visit to congratulate the MOJ’s information portal. Addressing at the meeting, the Deputy Minister affirmed the MOJ’s portal has lots of contributions to the propaganda of the Sector and Ministry’s activity. He wished that all the leaders and staff will make further efforts to build a more perfective portal which better serves people and enterprises.

Deputy Minister Le Hong Son has chaired the meeting with representatives of the central and local news agencies, newspapers on celebrating the 87th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Journalism (June21, 1925 to June21, 2012).

In the framework of cooperation on the rule of law dialogue between MOJ and the Justice Ministry of Federal Republic of Germany, Ministry of Justice in collaboration with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Institute (KAS) hosted a workshop on "Improving provisions of the Criminal Code 1992 contribute to protect and promote the development of market economy in Vietnam ". Mr. Le Hong Son - Deputy Minister of Justice and Ms. Rabea Brauer - Head of KAS’s Representative Office to Hanoi co-chaired the Seminar.

Following the inspection activities in Thua Thien Hue and Danang city, from June 07 to 08, the joint task group of the Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Natural Resources - Environment has inspected the registration of security transactions by using land use rights and assets attached to land in Ho Chi Minh City.

In the framework of the rule-of-law dialogue program between Vietnam and Germany, on June 5 and 6, Ministry of Justice in cooperation with Konrad Adenauer Stiftung Institute (KAS) hosted the seminar of the provisions on subjects, transactions and representation in the  2005 Civil Code of Vietnam – Orientation for amendments and additions. Mr Duong Dang Hue, Director of the Economic-Civil Legislation Department, chaired the workshop.

On June 5, the mid-term Meeting of the Consultative Group for Vietnam 2012 was officially opened in the city of Dong Ha, Quang Tri province, with the theme: "Dialogue with the central provinces." Minister of Planning and Investment Bui Quang Vinh and National Director of the World Bank in Vietnam - Ms Victoria Kwakwa co-chaired the conference. Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai attended and having speech at the second day of the conference.

On June 02, Ministry of Justice hosted a national conference to summarize the civil status management  and registration and the implementation of the legal documents on civil status. Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended and directed the conference.

Ministry of Justice on May 30 hosted a Conference to deploy administrative reform plan for 2012 and carry out professional training of administrative control for the leaders and the focal points implementing the control of the administrative procedure from units under MOJ.

Ministry of Justice on May 28 hosted a consulting workshop on studies, amendment and supplementation for the 1992 Constitution  in Quang Ninh province to widely collect opinions from experts, scientists and representatives from ministries, sectors and localities to perform the tasks for 2012 of the Government’s Steering Committee on the implementation of the 1992 Constitution, with the support of UNDP project named “Strengthening Access to Justice and Protection of Rights in Vietnam”. This activity followed other activities and results of Phase 1 in the implementation of the 1992 Constitution by the Steering Committee.
